Recovery is one of the most important pieces of a fitness program as it allows muscles to repair and the body to rejuvenate. However, recovery is often what is lacking in most people's program. We can recover with a rest day, but the best way to truly recover is to help the muscles restore, by bringing blood to the area. This can be done in many ways, through stretching, yoga, rolling, and massage among many other methods. To recover efficiently, sleep, proper nutrition and movement is also necessary.
Our goal over the next 6 months is to enhance our offerings for recovery as to best aid our members in the most all around program possible. We are now adding Myofascial Release recovery sessions that aim to provide flexibility and faster recovery.
