Please make an effort to be on time for Group Exercise Classes. It is important to be on time for the start of class for 2 reasons:
First, the start of each class includes a warm up. If you come late to class you miss some, if not all of this essential part of the work out. A good warm up provides focus/centering, improving your coordination, balance and reaction time. A warm up activates your cardio-vascular system, increasing blood flow and breathing, causing less stress on your heart. It also stretches and heats up your muscles decreasing your risk of injury.
In addition, when you come late for class it can be disruptive and distracting to the group that has already begun their warm-up.
